Position Overview:


The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects while remaining aligned with strategy. Commitments, and goals of the organization. Preference is given to project managers with experience in marketing and specifically the medical/addiction treatment fields, but this is not a requirement.


Specific Responsibilities:


  • Plan and implement projects while defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Define tasks and required resources managing project teams across numerous departments.

  • Create schedules and project timelines while tracking project deliverables and hold team members accountable to deadlines.

  • Regularly monitors and reports on project progress.

  • Evaluates and assesses result of all projects project.

  • Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

  • Enhances marketing department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience

  • Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent preferred

  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge and knowledge of techniques and tools

  • Experience as a project manager, specifically for a marketing organization

  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change movement

  • Proficiency in project management software tools

Communication: Communicates well both verbally and in writing, creates accurate and punctual reports, delivers presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills.


Customer Service: Demonstrates concern for meeting internal and external customers' needs in a manger that provides satisfaction for the customer within the resources that can be made available.


Work Environment: May work in a variety of environments including professional offices, clinics, hospitals, or out-patient facilities. They spend much of their time on their feet, actively working with patients.


Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.


Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
